Taking place from 12th to 15th April 2017, this world-class art fair should not be missed!

world-art-dubai-3Following the success of this year’s event in the Spring, exhibitor applications are now open for World Art Dubai 2017.  Both Galleries and Solo Artists are requested to apply for stands at one of the world’s most cosmopolitan and yet accessible Art Fairs.

world-art-dubai-1Set in Dubai’s famous World Trade Centre, thousands of collectors and art enthusiasts will browse over 3,000 paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs priced from US$100 to US$10,000.  Infact, one of the show’s maxims is ‘Affordable Art for Every Wall’.

Being able to take your favourite piece home the same day makes this Fair one of the smoothest clients will ever attend.  They can gain a plethora of advice from multiple professionals, all under the same roof.  Even the online market is represented, with a dedicated niche for this particular type of seller.

A variety of big-ticket sponsors have signed up to the event.  These range from Microsoft and Canon, to Coya and Emirates airline.  Art Lectures will also take place to round out this informative event aimed at beginner enthusiasts to au fait aficionados.  Even Children’s Workshops are planned (from 4pm – 6pm daily), based on the theme ‘Breaking Cultural Boundaries Through Art’.  ‘The Yard’ will feature an active event space where the Contemporary Design & Craft Market will take place (Friday & Saturday), alongside catering trucks, the Canon Interactive Graffiti Art Activity Wall and Repton School Urban Dubai Art Competition Display.

The event will again host the International Emerging Artist Award which will be unveiled on the opening day.  The aim of the award is to provide ‘world-class recognition and outstanding career opportunities to its laureates’.  Competitors will be exhibited specifically on stand D14.

A range of live painting areas will also be provided, allowing artists free reign to create large-scale sculptures, conceptual art pieces and modern interactive installations.  Just some of the artists on display here will include Adiya Bazaar Chadrabaal (Contemporary Mongolian Equine art) and Zuzanna Kozlowska (New York Silk Textile Portraiture).  Roaming live musicians will also supply an ambient backdrop throughout the exhibits from 5pm to 9pm daily.
